Deep Creek Hot Springs in the San Bernardino National Forest: natural hot pools beside a cool creek at the bottom of a rocky canyon. THE HIKE IS REAL: from Bowen Ranch (private land, fee as reported) it's ~2.5-3 miles each way, steep + loose, with a hard climb out; the free Pacific Crest Trail route is ~6+ miles each way for experienced hikers. Keep your head above the hot water, bring lots of water, pack out trash, avoid midday heat. As reported, some visitors are clothing optional.
